The Spanish Programme

The Spanish, Teaching and Cultural Immersion Programme

This programme has been specifically designed for those who want to learn/improve their Spanish, learn to teach and get to know the culture of Spain and don't hold an EU passport or wants to learn Spanish.

The programme is for one year and includes the following

• 4 week intensive TEFL course in Madrid (which is the recognised qualification for Teaching English as a Second Language and meets the standards set out by the British Council. It is also accredited by IATQuO)

• 11 months of Spanish classes at AIL (this will normally take place in the mornings, evenings or on Fridays depending on your schedule)

• Lesson planning and mentoring. This is available at TtMadrid for 9 hours per week and the trainers will help you organize your lessons, come up with creative classes and deal with any difficult students.

• Teaching practice - this will take place in academies, schools or in-companies around Madrid.

• Ongoing Professional Development Training. These are Friday classes throughout the year to ensure you continue to grow as a teacher throughout the year and include classes on the following:
• Learning styles
• Coaching in the classroom
• How NLP can help your students
• Advanced business English
• Designing intensive courses
• A range of courses for teaching children including an introduction to Jolly Phonics
• Motivational factors

The visa process

Unfortunately this is a little complicated but we have helped hundreds of graduates go through this before and we will support you every step of the way. We also match you with a graduate who has been through the same consulate as you so they can give you advice and tips.

Price:

The total price of the programme is 2700 euros.
